The Surf Club Four Seasons is an oceanfront hotel and residential development located at 9011 Collins Avenue in Surfside, Florida. The historic Surf Club originally opened in 1930 and was extensively redeveloped beginning in 2014, with the new Four Seasons property opening in 2017. The approximately nine-acre complex combines the restored original clubhouse with an 11-story hotel and two 12-story residential towers. The redevelopment was designed by architect Richard Meier in collaboration with Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, while the historic clubhouse was carefully restored and incorporated into the modern development.
The residential component includes 150 luxury condominium residences, including a limited collection of signature penthouses. Homes range from approximately 1,200 to more than 8,000 square feet and feature floor-to-ceiling glass, expansive terraces, private elevator access, and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and surrounding coastline. Interiors incorporate materials and finishes selected by Richard Meier, while kitchens feature custom cabinetry and premium appliances. Primary suites include generous dressing areas and spa-inspired bathrooms with sculptural freestanding tubs. Residences also incorporate multi-zone climate control, sound-reducing construction, high-speed connectivity, and integrated technology systems.
The signature penthouse collection includes both single-level and duplex residences designed with extensive private outdoor areas. Select penthouses feature rooftop terraces, plunge pools, landscaped gardens, and summer kitchens, creating private indoor-outdoor living environments overlooking the ocean.
The resort provides approximately 815 feet of Atlantic Ocean frontage with beach service and private cabanas, along with landscaped gardens, courtyards, fountains, and multiple swimming pools. Wellness amenities include a full-service spa, fitness facilities, private training spaces, yoga and Pilates areas, saunas, steam rooms, and treatment suites. Residents also have access to concierge and housekeeping services, valet and secured parking, security, and additional personalized services.
The Four Seasons hotel contains 77 guest rooms, including five cabana studios, and provides residents with access to its hospitality services and dining venues. The property is home to The Surf Club Restaurant by Thomas Keller, Lido Restaurant at The Surf Club, Champagne Bar, and several spaces for private gatherings and events.
Located directly on the ocean in Surfside, the development is close to Bal Harbour Shops, Harding Avenue, Bay Harbor Islands, and the restaurants and boutiques of Surfside and Bal Harbour. Miami Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, the Miami Design District, and Downtown Miami are also easily accessible from the property.
