Mercedes-Benz Places Miami is an ambitious new branded residential development bringing the design philosophy, technology, and craftsmanship associated with Mercedes-Benz into Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. Located at 1133 SW 2nd Avenue, the project is currently in pre-construction with an anticipated completion in 2028. Developed by JDS Development Group, the approximately 67-story tower is designed by New York-based architecture firm SHoP, with interiors by Woods Bagot, landscaping by Field Operations, and building digitalization by ReWyre. The project is envisioned as a sophisticated urban ecosystem combining luxury residences, wellness, hospitality, technology, and green space, with more than 130,000 square feet of amenities integrated throughout the development.

The project will feature approximately 700 residences, offering one- to three-bedroom homes with 10-foot ceilings and deep five-foot terraces. Interiors are designed to reflect the Mercedes-Benz aesthetic through a combination of warm wood, black and metallic accents, refined materials, and contemporary detailing. Residence features include designer kitchens with bleached red-oak cabinetry and concealed lighting, black lacquered cabinetry and bar countertops, Miele integrated appliances, Bosch washer and dryer systems, hardwood flooring and doors, and marble bathrooms complemented by gray walnut cabinetry. The residences are designed to balance sophisticated modernism with functionality while providing expansive views of Brickell and the surrounding Miami landscape.

Mercedes-Benz Places is planned with an extensive collection of five-star, hotel-inspired amenities focused on wellness, entertainment, work, and social experiences. Residents will have access to cafés, cocktail bars, two restaurants, sun and garden pools with food and beverage service, a rooftop infinity pool, cinema, recording studio, Mercedes-Benz racing simulator, library, co-working center, children’s games and art center, chef’s kitchen, summer kitchen, private dining areas, and a comprehensive wellness center. The wellness facilities are particularly extensive and include treatment rooms, steam baths, wet and dry saunas, infrared heat facilities, a Japanese-inspired onsen, Himalayan pink salt cave, aromatherapy room, and an advanced fitness center. Additional conveniences include parking with electric-vehicle charging stations, Mercedes-Benz service vehicles, 24-hour concierge and valet services, and technology-driven building systems designed to enhance efficiency and connectivity.

A major element of the development is its relationship with Southside Park, which directly surrounds the project and provides an important green setting within Brickell. The newly designed park is planned with sports and playground facilities, water features, children’s areas, a dog play area, and spaces for relaxation. Pedestrian connections link the development to the wider neighborhood and the Underline, creating opportunities for walking, jogging, cycling, and outdoor recreation. This integration of residential amenities with substantial landscaped public space reinforces the project’s focus on wellness and urban connectivity.
