The Residences at Shell Bay by Auberge Collection is a new luxury development under construction at 501 Diplomat Parkway in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Set within the private 150-acre Shell Bay community along the Intracoastal Waterway, the project features a 20-story residential tower with only 108 residences and penthouses. Vertical construction began in 2025, with completion and opening currently scheduled for 2027. Because this is entirely new construction, the building has no remodeling or renovation history.
The residential tower is being developed by Witkoff Group and PPG Development, with architecture by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design and interiors by AvroKO. The collection includes one- through four-bedroom residences, including an exclusive selection of penthouses. Homes are designed with 10-foot-clear ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass, large wraparound terraces, private or semi-private elevator access, white-oak cabinetry, honed marble countertops and Gaggenau appliances. Select penthouses incorporate extensive private outdoor areas, plunge pools and summer kitchens.
What distinguishes Shell Bay from a conventional condominium is its integration into an extensive private club and resort environment. The community already features a Greg Norman-designed championship golf course with a 12-acre practice facility and nine-hole par-three course. Residents will also have access to a private yacht club and 48-slip marina, along with Florida’s only private racquet club designed to offer all four Grand Slam playing surfaces.
The wellness and recreational facilities extend well beyond the residential tower. Shell Bay is planned with an 18,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, private members’ facilities, wine-tasting spaces, coworking and meeting suites, a sports simulator, bowling, children’s recreation areas and a 30,000-square-foot social ballroom with an outdoor terrace. The rooftop of the residential tower will feature approximately 14,000 square feet of pool areas with cabanas and spaces for outdoor dining and relaxation.
Ownership also includes access to personalized residential services associated with Auberge Collection, including a dedicated Director of Residences, concierge and butler services, package receiving, dining and entertainment reservations, and personalized fitness and wellness assistance. The residences offer flexible rental opportunities subject to the project’s occupancy and rental provisions, including a stated 180-day occupancy term.
The combination of only 108 residences, a private golf course, marina, racquet facilities, extensive wellness amenities and Auberge-managed residential services makes Shell Bay substantially different from the larger condominium developments in Hallandale Beach. Its location also provides convenient access to Aventura, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, beaches, shopping and both Miami-Dade and Broward County destinations.
